Work is nearly completed on the new Brother Jefferson Band live cd, due out in February 2018. 

Recording a brand new song for the St. Louis Blues Society compilation disc "17 for 17". 

Calendar is filling up with all kinds of shows for 2018 as well.

Brother Jefferson Band News! 

The Brother Jefferson Band ~ 'Live at the Sheldon Concert Hall' videos are now available to check out on You Tube and Facebook! 

The Bradford National Bank 150th Anniversary Celebration is coming up on Saturday Sept 2, we take the stage at 6:00 pm. 

The 22nd Annual Big Muddy Blues Festival also takes place this weekend, on Laclede's Landing in St. Louis, MO. 

Over 50 acts over 3 days, all St. Louis based musicians! 

Brother Jefferson Band kicks off the Lucas St. stage on Sunday afternoon at 3:15 pm!

It's been a few days since the last news update.

The days seem to be flying by recently, lots of good things happening on the music front!

We just played the inaugural  Mississippi Nights Music Festival on Laclede's Landing in St. Louis, MO.

The event had to deal with some rain & wind issues, but by all indications was successful.

Our next big event is coming up on June 27th at the Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis!

Very pleased to announce that Brother Jefferson Band will be performing at this year's 
"Big Muddy Blues Festival" held on Laclede's Landing in St. Louis, MO over the Labor Day Weekend. 

Our time slot is scheduled for Sunday Sept. 3 at 3:15 pm on the Lucas Stage.

Wishing everyone a safe & happy Easter this weekend! 

Starting off with an acoustic solo performance this evening at Embers Wood Fired Pizza in Vandalia, IL (6p-9p). 

Then on Saturday the Chapman Bros. Band will be doing their thing at Gridiron Grill in downtown Breese, IL (9p-1a).

Pleased to announce that beginning on Friday April 21st, I will performing the 3rd Friday of the month thru
October at Embers Wood Fired Pizza in Vandalia, IL. 

These dates wil be solo acoustic shows, but may include some pop-up guests.

What a great turnout & reception for last night's cd release party!  

The band was cookin' and the crowd was into it from start to finish.  

Thanks to BB's Jazz, Blues, & Soups for being such fine hosts, and to all the folks who came out and make the event memorable!

We're only 1 week away now from the release of the new cd Jeff Chapman - Watchin' The World Go By!   

Huge thank you to the  DJs at KDHX 88.1 FM who have been playing the new cd, and helping to get the word out about the show.  

Tomorrow is rehearsal day with the band, and we've all been working to bring the fans a memorable listening experience.  
We will be playing 7 of the 13 new songs, as well as music from both Vol. 1 and Vol. 2.  

Doors open at 6pm and the band takes the stage at 7pm.
